🇨🇳 YES and NO to Language Training Centers in China

After more than three years of working in China, we’ve undergone numerous changes in educational laws and regulations. While each training center is unique, there are overarching aspects that stand out, both positively and negatively, compared to our experiences elsewhere in the world. I have to mention that the “YES” side of training centers in China far outweighs the “NO” side — and we`re sure we`d choose this kind of job opportunity over others we’ve explored in the past.

“YES” to training centers in China

1. Creativity. In China’s language training centers, the teaching approach goes beyond traditional methods focused solely on filling textbooks and drilling grammar rules. Given the rarity of foreigners in China (we talked about this in the previous article), particularly in smaller communities, language schools serve as meeting grounds where kids encounter individuals who look different from their parents. As teachers, our goal is to use exciting methods that grab students’ interest and make them eager to learn.
