Day 1, 30.09.2024. — Bye, Latvia! 🌞

“Your flight is delayed,” reads the message that arrives on the morning of our trip. ⚠️ Well, at least we get to sleep in a bit longer. For the first time ever, we have proper travel insurance — and a perfect chance to see how it works. 😅 But not even two hours pass before AirBaltic changes its mind — the flight will actually be on time. Oh, life, you’re already toying with us on day one of our adventure! 🤭 The morning is freezing, the sun sparkles over frost-covered fields. It’s time to head for warmer places! 🌞

A final walk along the Daugava River with our pups — today, the river looks straight out of a painting. Then, it’s off to the train station. 🐕 Home is wonderful. It’s always amazing to come back. 🏡 But growth happens only when you venture out — further, higher, and into the unknown. 🚀 This time, there’s none of that bittersweet feeling of leaving. Maybe it’s because we’ve stopped overthinking the future? You can never truly catch it, so why waste time chasing it? 💁 The most beautiful and real thing is this moment. And in this moment, we’re off. ✈️
